The MSC is a student-based organization which comprises of all the clubs and societies of Metropolitan College. The primary responsibilities and objectives of the MSC is:
- To promote and protect the welfare, rights and priveleges of all students
- To provide a platform for students to be heard to the management
- To encourage interaction of all programmes, and promote student interests and activities
- To coordinate the activities of all student clubs, boards and societies, and ensure there is no conflict of interest among them
- To enrich and enhance the college experience that students will go through
